Dypsis pembana (syn. Chrysalidocarpus pembana)

Dypsis pembana – Pemba Palm

Refined • Tropical • Distinctive Form

A striking and rare blue-green palm, Dypsis pembana is prized for its clean, ringed trunk and elegant, upright crown of deep green fronds. Originating from Pemba Island off the coast of Tanzania, it brings a refined, resort-style presence to premium landscape projects.

With balanced proportions and strong architectural form, the Pemba Palm is ideal for statement planting in high-end residential, resort and commercial landscapes. Once established, it performs reliably in full sun and well-drained soils, with good tolerance to wind and coastal conditions.

Suitable as a standalone feature or planted in rows for a dramatic avenue effect, Dypsis pembana adds structure, movement and understated tropical luxury to contemporary designs.
