Chuniophoenix hainanensis

Chuniophoenix hainanensis

An elegant and rarely available palm, Chuniophoenix hainanensis is prized for its graceful, fan-shaped foliage, compact trunk, and refined tropical character. Native to southern China, it offers a softer, more curated alternative to larger fan palms, making it ideal for architectural and high-end landscape designs.

Its balanced form and neatly held canopy provide visual interest without overwhelming surrounding planting, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into courtyards, resort-style gardens and structured planting schemes. This species performs well in warm temperate climates and is well suited to Sydney conditions.

Presented in a 400 L bag with an overall height of approximately 3 m, this specimen is well established and ready for immediate installation as a premium feature palm.
