1. Archontononphoenix alexandrae and cunninghamiana (Alexander and Bangalow)
Several high-end property developers (Meriton and 8attrinitypoint.com.au) used our Alexanders as features, the biggest a 13m trunk, triple, 5 tonne. The Art Gallery of NSW entrance is adorned with a dozen of our 6-9m trunk Banagalows.
These are siblings, grown locally, so do extremely well in Sydney. The Alexander has a statelier trunk and prouder canopy. Alexanders are a little hardier.
We have thousands of all heights for your pool, a feature or a property development.
2. Man Fern (Dicksonia antartica)
WOW!!!
Proud, statement trunks with softness from the ancient forests of Tasmania.
If you want something amazing that no one has – we have them and opening a new market.
All our Man ferns are individually tagged and saved from logging destruction.
Some are many hundreds of years old.
3. Kentia Palm (Howea forsteriana)
This was the late Queen Elizabeth’s favourite palm, being elegant, soft deep green trunk and broad deep green arching fronds. This is very slow growing and extremely popular.
4. Australian Tree Fern (Cyathea cooperi)
For those aiming to add height and texture, the Australian Tree Fern is a fantastic option. Its large, umbrella-like fronds provide both shade and a stunning visual element.
Our plants range from small to 7m trunk.
5. Rare palms
If you want a real touch of the exotic which grows in Sydney, we have done the hard work for you. We have all manner of species from Madagascar, New Caledonia and other locations which have all been acclimated to Sydney over several years. Check them out on our catalogue or book a visit.
